Tuition Thank you for taking the time to look at our website. We hope that it will be able to offer you something and answer any questions that you may have about courses offered and going to sea in general.
Qualifications Offered We are able to offer all shorebased Royal Yachting Association courses and qualifications. We also offer, in addition to all the RYA/MCA shorebased courses, RYA practical courses for Helmsmen, Competent Crew, Day and Coastal skippers in association with recognised schools. We specialise in practical Yachtmaster Examination preparations during the spring, summer and autumn months either in small groups or on your own boat.
Services Available We are able to offer help and guidance from a wealth of personal experience. When buying a new sailing boat or motor cruiser or if you are having a boat delivered we can provide assistance. We deliver all types of boats to all areas. We can provide familiarisation to new boating areas in the UK and abroad as well as tuition and qualifications. We have knowledge of a wide range of boating locations but particularly the Solent, West Country, Channel Islands and the Balearics, Majorca, Minorca and Ibiza.
About Aubrey Wallis Marine Our full time professional instructors have many thousands of miles and many years of experience on pleasure and commercial sail and power driven vessels and, yes, they are based and do live in the Midlands taking advantage of the confluence of motorways and the splendid Birmingham International Airport. They combine both leisure yachting and commercial maritime experience. They are professional seamen with qualifications to match, who instruct and deliver at sea mainly in the summer period and who concentrate on shorebased tuition in the autumn and spring.

Midland Maritime at Hagley is an ideal location for quiet study whilst being central for easy access from the whole Midlands area using the A456 and the motorway network (M5, M6, M42 and M40). Accomodation for students and their families can be offered if required.

If you are interested in anything on offer or if you would like to suggest any trips for the forthcoming season. We can normally provide boats in most parts of the country. As the season progresses we are able to offer different items as they present themselves so never hesitate to telephone to see what is happening.
